Devon, Pennsylvania - Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Alice Marie Kreamer Morse lived a long and fulfilled life defined by deep faith and a practiced embodiment of Christ's unconditional love to all who crossed her path. After meeting in church choir in Montgomery, she and the handsome airman Kenneth Lloyd Morse (b. 1922-d. 2011) married on July 8, 1946. The next day, she followed both her heart and her new husband to Maine, where she and Ken began their life together. They raised their three children in Bangor, spending most summers on Park's Pond and then Whetstone Pond. They moved south to Wayne, PA, in 1970, still returning to their beloved pond in Maine each summer.

From 1970 to 1986, Alice was a familiar and comforting face on the campus of Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, first in the library and later in the Dean's Office. When it came time to retire, she and Ken celebrated with a classic American adventure, driving across the country to take in the beauty of the land.

Alice was the heart of her family as well as a wise, loving "mom" and mentor to many others. Along with a legacy of being dearly beloved by all who met her, Alice leaves behind her children: Jean Marie Morse McIntire and her husband, David, Bettie Ann Morse Brigham and her husband, Timothy, and Gordon Kenneth Morse and his wife, Judy; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Even after passing peacefully in her sleep on March 23, 2026, Alice's 100-year legacy of love and service to others continues with her decision to donate her body to science through the Humanity Gift Registry. Though her soul has moved on, she has transitioned into her final act of earthly generosity, currently "teaching" anatomy to the next generation of doctors at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia.
