Orneville, Maine - Darrell "John" Drinkwater passed peacefully at home on August 19, 2026. John was born to Darrell W. Drinkwater and Lois Moore on September 30, 1943.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sheryl (Henderson) Drinkwater and their daughter, Laurie Drinkwater; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John was predeceased by his son, James Drinkwater.
John graduated from Milo High School and joined the army. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge Piscataquis #44 of Milo and a business owner of J&S Furniture alongside Sheryl for 35 years. John also loved time spent on and around Boyd Lake.
