Dover-Foxcroft and Fairfield, Maine - Eleanor J. Wilson passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 91, with her dear friend, Verna Goodwin, by her side. She was born June 25, 1934, the daughter of John and Blanche (Bowers) Kinney. Eleanor was a very thoughtful and loving person. She loved the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and Perry Mason reruns.
Eleanor is survived by her son, John Foss; nieces, Valerie (Allen) Paradis and Marilyn Sprague; nephews, Mark (Susan) Derose and Bruce Derose; and a very special friend, Terry Whitcomb. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, John Wilson; and her son, Charles Foss.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Dover Cemetery in Dover-Foxcroft. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at laryfuneralhome.com.
