Francis Wilson Bradbury, Jr.
Orrington - Francis Wilson Bradbury, Jr. (Brad) of Orrington passed away at St. Joseph's hospital on October 22, 2019 after a long battle with lung disease. He was 64. He was born October 9,1955 in Dover-Foxcroft to Dr. Francis W. Bradbury and Mary (Wingard)Bradbury. He was married to Kathryn (Russell) Bradbury for 22 years. He graduated from UME Farmington with a degree in education.He spent his teaching career at the Beechhill School in Otis and retired in 2016. He always enjoyed running into his students and learning how their lives had turned out. He was predeceased by his parents and his in-laws John and Beverlee Russell, Nancy Conlon and his beloved cat Nosey. He is survived by his wife Kathryn, her sister Jennifer Stone, brother Jeffrey Russell and wife Nancy, brother Chris Russell and wife Margaret. Also surviving are his sister Priscilla and husband George McCourt, sister Nora and husband Jeff Merrill and brother Jeff Bradbury. Along with many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and 3 great-great-nieces. He was an avid Boston sports fan, golfer, fisherman and chef. He was a kind, caring person and was very sentimental. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Please join us for a celebration of life on November 2, 2019 at Seasons in Bangor at 1:00pm. There will be a private burial. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Humane Society.
