Ellsworth, Maine - Marcel Busque, Dad, Grandpapa, and Brother passed away suddenly on December 25, 2025, at his home in Ellsworth, Maine. He was born on August 20, 1953, in St. Gedeon, Quebec, to Herve and Louisette Busque.
Marcel was a longtime Maine woodsman and avid care enthusiast. He loved drag racing and spent many weekends at the Winterport drag way as a racer and later a spectator, where he made many longtime friends.
Marcel is survived by his loving children, Danielle, Joey (Jessie) and Patricia; his grandchildren, Elijah Marcel, Hayden, Ali, and Sophie Busque, Sage, and Sierra Roberts; his brother, Ghislain (Julie-friend); sisters, Martine (Jim) and Mary (Jimmy); and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Peter; and nephew, Ryan Busque.
A service will be held in the late spring, where Marcel will get his last trip down the drag strip with his Winterport racing family.
