Sangerville - SANGERVILLE - Regina M. Jackson of Sangerville, Maine, beloved wife of Gerald "Chummy" Jackson, passed away on August 12, 2019.
Born in Medford, Maine on October 10, 1941, she was the triplet daughter of the late Daniel Lee and the late Bertha Marie (Bunker) Campbell.
"Gina" was a devoted wife and home-maker who enjoyed life and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed music, cooking, baking, canning, gardening, sewing, knitting, and camping. Gina worked on a potato harvester and planted potatoes for a few years and then went to work at Mayo Regional Hospital. She started out in the Laundry and then moved into Central Sterile Supply. She retired after 30 years of service. She was a hard-worker who was full of joy and laughter, loved her family, her job, her co-workers, and her friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Gerald Jackson, son Russell Jackson and his wife Kara of Sangerville, two daughters Denise Jackson and her partner Rick Russell, and Jolene (Jackson) Lance and her husband Jim of Salem, MA; grandchildren Cody Jackson and his son Bradley, Tessa Duby and her children John and Octavia, and Abigail Lance; as well as brother Owen Campbell and his wife Shirley of Sangerville, triplet brother Orman Campbell of St. James, MO, brother Elgin Turner of Vichy, MO, and brother-in-law Joe Grant of Sangerville, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her Father, Mother and Step-Father, Frank E. Turner, triplet brother Norman Campbell, brothers Donald, Richard and Galen Campbell, sisters Patricia Waterhouse and Gloria Grant.
At Regina's request, there will be no funeral service. Condolences may be sent to the Jackson's at 817 Douty Hill Rd, Sangerville, ME 04479.
